Annual presentation of the RAB Awards

The aim of the event is to reward creativity in radio advertising and to stimulate the use of radio advertising in general.

Concept

More than ever, this is the time to look to the future: 100 years of radio, 10 years of Radio Advertising Awards, at the beginning of an audio revolution. Where will radio be in 5 to 10 years? What will be the emotional value of audio and radio for consumers? When will audio soon be experienced as radio? The 10th edition of the Radio Advertising Awards is not only an award ceremony but also the premiere of a documentary 'radio unlimited', in which the future of audio is highlighted from different perspectives in 20 minutes.

Event

After the premiere screening of the documentary, a stand-up comedian performs and the program switchs from knowledge sharing and inspiration to entertainment, ending with the presentation of the Radio Advertising Awards.

The nominees per category are briefly mentioned, followed by a DJ movie announcing the winner, the winning commercial itself and the presentation of the RAB Award. In half an hour to three quarters of an hour all
six awards are presented. Then the bar opens for the annual media drink on the terrace of EYE.
